Ball State PBS, the producing station of “The Joy of Painting,” is happy to announce the return of the award-winning Happy Little Fest—the annual celebration of “all things Bob Ross”—at the place the iconic painter called home for many years.

Dr. Pablo Borboroglu, 2023 winner of the Indianapolis Prize, will be a guest lecturer at Ball State at 11 a.m. on Oct. 3 in Sursa Performance Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entry to the event.

During this event, transfer students and their guests will have the opportunity to speak with current students, learn about academic and student resources, and take a campus tour. During the tour, you will get to explore our beautiful campus and learn more about the different offices and landmarks on campus.

Experience the partial solar eclipse at Ball State University’s Community Block Party as you partake in hands-on science and art activities, and observe the sky safely during the day with telescopes and free solar eclipse glasses (while supplies last). Join us out in nature as we come together during this celebration that includes a bounce house, family activities, music, and more!

Join us this Homecoming for all your favorite events. The week runs from October 16-21!

During our College Preview Days, you can explore your academic area(s) of interest through an open house hosted by the College of your choice. In addition, you will have the opportunity to tour campus, engage with campus partners, learn more about our admission criteria, and eat in one of our nationally ranked dining facilities.
